Congratulations to our PTA!!!

They have been awarded the Orange County Council of PTA's award for "Most Outstanding New PTA". Thank you to all our members and volunteers for your commitment to our school and our PTA. Our success can only be attributed to the support of all the parents, teachers, and students of Sunset Park.

Our Vision

Our vision at Sunset Park Elementary School is to provide a positive, enriching and safe environment that enables students to succeed, to become life-long learners, to be responsible members of our community and to be top producers in the nation.

We will facilitate the growth and development of each child.  Expectations for academic success, mutual respect, and personal responsibility are high, and each student is supported in meeting or exceeding these expectations.

It is our desire to create a safe, nurturing, and educational environment where all students are motivated to pursue academic excellence.

As our new year begins, we look forward to your continued support and participation in all of our school activities, projects and events. We are working very hard to select the best educational resources, programs, and curriculum that will engage your child on a daily basis.

"Soaring Towards Academic Excellence" is our motto, and we cannot reach this goal without staff, students, and parents working together to make Sunset Park Elementary a school where each child can grow emotionally, academically and socially.

We sincerely thank you for entrusting your child to us each day. We are committed to providing each student with the highest quality of education.

Sincerely,

Carol C. Russ
Principal
